About me

Choosing the right coach is important so, on this page, you can find out a little bit about who I am and why I became a qualified, accredited coach. Take a read and feel free to contact me if you’d like to know more.

Why I’m a coach

For me, few things are more satisfying than supporting someone to achieve the things that matter most to them. I enjoy finding out what makes people tick and helping them see (and use) their own strengths.

During my life, career and studies, I’ve picked up a range of strategies and techniques that I can share. I’m at my best (and my happiest) when I’m connecting ideas with people.

My coaching qualifications

My coaching is informed by evidence. Specifically: Effective strategies to improve performance and maintain wellbeing. I hold a Masters of Science in Coaching Psychology and the ACC accreditation from the International Coaching Federation.

My studies have given me the tools to:

  • Work with clients in a collaborative and respectful way

  • Help clients identify their values, goals and strengths

  • Support clients to navigate the process of achieving their goals, by focusing on solutions and strengths.

Where I’ve worked

My understanding of business, organisations and cultures is informed by more than 30 years’ experience. I’ve worked in professional services, government, hospitality, film and academia across Australia, Singapore, the UK, the US, Canada, New Zealand and Poland. You can read more details about my career on LinkedIn.

My specialisms

I have a particular interest in supporting clients as they manage change and transition through career stages and life.

In recent years, I’ve published articles on burnout and retirement planning, developed a career transition toolkit, and established an early career mentoring program across six countries. I’ve also developed a framework of mental health support for professional accountants in Australia and New Zealand.
